Because attributes are more of a logical data structure vs. physical, we try to stay away from them (among other reasons).
Brian Stevens
To me, low code is if you can do it easily in the customization project directly. No code would be like automation steps and the new workflow.
Brian Stevens
It doesn’t take much for me to need to go to visual studio for syntax, etc.
Tony Lanzer
New workflow engine bit us this week. We wanted to add an option to a dropdown, and we can no longer do that in real custom code. Has to be done at least partly in workflows. Very surprising.

Ha! Unlocking a released invoice to edit a user defined field has currently been a frustation of ours!
Tony Lanzer
Can you reference those new options in code later, though, when you add them in workflow ? I would doubt it.
Tony Lanzer
right
Tony Lanzer
Version control is always an issue when doing no-code or low-code vs. real code. Harder to do or see changes without real code. Any thoughts on version control? Low/No code is hidden.
Tony Lanzer
xml is an option, but hard to sort through

Is anyone going to the Hackathon at Summit this year?
Brian Stevens
yes!

Of all the things that we developers do, documentation is the last thing that we like to do. Should we do it? Yes – but it is the least favourite thing to do. 🙂
Tony Lanzer
yes
