When I first began using Acumatica, I tried to connect using my iPhone but was unable to. Tonight I decided to try again, but I’m still having the same problem. I can login, but I’m not able to click on any of the navigation links (like Finance or Time & Expenses in the screenshot below).
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Does Acumatica work on the iPhone? This article seems to indicate that it does, but it’s old (from 2010) and the link that it refers to (http://www.acumatica.com/iphone) doesn’t work anymore. So, maybe Acumatica doesn’t work on the iPhone. If that’s the case, I’ll be really disappointed.

I finally was able to get the links to work by using the “Request Desktop Site” feature in Google Chrome on my iPhone. The links and buttons now work, but the lookup (magnifying glass) icons give me the following error:
undefined: 'undefined' is not a function (evaluating '__doc(this).createStyleSheet()')The lookup (magnifying glass) icons work fine on the partner portal (thanks to Gabriel for suggesting to try that site).
So, I guess this remains a concrete reason for SaaS.
You’re right, it does work on the partner portal. This gives me confidence to try to get it working on my local version. I’ll let you know if I can figure it out.
Nothing special. It has always worked more or less ok for me. Can you try with a different Acumatica site (like the partner portal) ?
Interesting. Thanks for the info Gabriel.
I’m running Acumatica 4.10.0854 and iOS 7.0.2 on my iPhone 4S. I tried both Chrome and Safari, but have the same problem on both. Did you have to do anything special on yours to get it to work? It’s almost like scripting isn’t allowed or something like that.
Hi,
I tested Acumatica 4.1 on my iPhone (iOS 7.0.3) and it works fine. I do not experience the same issue that you describe. It is a supported I scenario. Can you let me know which version you are using?
