I've played various roles throughout my 15+ years supporting business and systems, most recently as a Business Analyst and project manager. Hi ya'all. I'm from Northern Ohio and have been selling and implementing ERP in Manufacturing , Retail, Fin Svcs and distribution since 1994. I am new to Accumatica but so far find it refreshingly complete and straightforward! I am familiar with Made2Manage, Macola, Sage 500 and 300, Mapics. Peripherals Concur, Salesforce, Replicon, Workday, WMS, HRMS DFC , mobile devices and fully meshed networks.
Is good choice to get trained in Workday HCM. As the demand for Workday is more in the current situation. My cousin planning to take workday training. Kindly share your suggestions to bridge the gap.

@steveskok Workday definitely looks interesting, although I think it's for much larger companies than the Midmarket space that Acumatica plays in, at least that's my impression.

I am Pat Weible and I live in Seattle, WA. My professional background is mostly with a variety of ERP systems, but my main experience is with JD Edwards ERP system on the IBM Mid Range system (AS/400) now called the Iseries. I started out as a programmer in conjunction doing training, consulting and implementations with a JD Edwards business partner who developed retail software using JD Edwards program models and tools, which interfaced seamlessly into the JD Edwards accounting module.
Over the years I realized (along with most of my employers) that I work really well with the user community and enjoy assisting them with problems and issues, so I gradually moved more towards the business and consulting end of the industry. For the past few years I have been a Business Analyst and consultant, and am currently working as an Application Security and Disaster Recovery analyst.
I am excited to learn more about Acumatica and my goals are to learn the major modules such as accounting, sales, inventory and procurement as well as implementation to obtain a broad background in the software.

With experience implementing Manufacturing, Project, and Field Service in Acumatica, I'm happy to field any questions in those areas of Acumatica in addition to questions on Financials/Distribution.
ICAN Software Solutions has also developed add-in products for Acumatica such as our Mass Apply Payables & Mass Apply Receivables products which allow for preview and processing imported remittance information OR mass auto apply for range of vendor/customer and document dates. We are currently migrating our InvestmentAssets solution from Dynamics GP to Acumatica as well.

Hi, I'm very new to Acumatica. Our company recently acquired it and we just went live June 1. Our company fabricates customized advertising materials like supermarket gondolas, store signs and booths for events. So far, this forum had been helpful for us as we are now doing generic inquiries to personalize our users' dashboards and reports. Btw, I am from Quezon City, Philippines. Hi everyone! Like ElaineT, I am very new to Acumatica. Our company, a little on a whim (that's how we roll 🙂 ), decided to sign a contract with Acumatica and I was made the point of contact with our Acumatica partner. I have a little experience with ERP-type software many many years ago, but I have done some programming only many years ago.
I can't explain how happy I was to discover this place! We are a manufacturing business and it looks like we are going to need a lot of custom General Inquires, Import Scenarios, and customizations. I'm learning as I go!
Looking forward to learning a lot, and certainly contributing back the things I learn!

Acumatica is definitely a fun product to work with. Definitely lots of possibilities, especially for someone with some programming experience like yourself.
Thanks Tim @timrodman! Our office staff, who currently deal with Quickbooks and Fishbowl, have been delighted with what they have seen so far! We're all pretty sure/happy/relieved that Acumatica is going to be a great fit for us.

What a great group to be a part of! I am an ERP Implementations Consultant from New Zealand implementing MYOB Advanced (Acumatica) and working for Aztech Solutions one of MYOB's partners.
AUGForums is an absolute godsend when it comes to resolving many of the more tricky issues I have come across. I think I practically live here on a daily basis during an implementation 🙂 I hope to be able to give back and help others as well at some point. Thanks heaps to @timrodman and @sslavin
