A client is asking for departments to only have access to financial and budget reports for their department. All employees have a department assigned in their employee record. The department is also the first segment of a three segment subaccount.
Only out-of-the-box security is active at this point. (Not yet live).
I set up a department role and started going through the screens under "Access Rights by Role" but Department, if available, is at the field level and there is no way (that I have found) to define rights if a department is equal to a specific value.
The only thing I can think of is to have specific financial reports per department and then securitize the report to the members of that department.
Other suggestions?
