I recently came across the article https://www.augforums.com/a-power-bi-timesheet/ I know this one dates back several year but hoping it might help with our current transition to consultant billing based on Acumatic timesheets/activities.
The link to the PowerBI file appears to be broken.
In addition to this I would be interested to discuss with anyone using Acumatica for a technical consultancy.
Hi Nwood
I have added Timesite Pro to our ecosystem that handles timesheets very well, take a look at their solution at
https://www.myob.com/au/apps/products/timesite-pro
If this is of interest I believe you know how to find me? I am happy to do an introduction to the team at Time Site Pro if you feel it will help you.
All the best,
Carl
@nwood Drat, it's been several years since I wrote that post and I can't find the .pbix file. I think it was a link to an online shared folder somewhere that doesn't exist anymore.
I personally still LOVE this method and I've used it at multiple jobs. Using my calendar as my timesheet works really well for me since my calendar is forward-looking and only requires a little adjusting to also serve as a backward-looking timesheet.
I've gone through several iterations on the Power BI side deciding how to slide and dice my time data. It's interesting to forecast utilization.
