What Credit Card Processing services are people using with Acumatica?

Authorize.net (click here) is available out-of-the-box, but there are also additional providers like APS Payments (click here), Century Business Solutions (click here), Paya (click here), and others.

When I was at CS3, we had customers on both APS and CBS (EBizCharge). Both worked well and the installation and training went well.

Each has provided unique advantages over the other at different times. However, as soon as it was identified, the other created a comparable solutions.

Both provide:

  • support for level 1, 2, and 3 processing options,
  • website for your customers to record invoice payments directly and,
  • have manual card readers that can be deployed on-site.

We used Authorize.net for the first couple of years and then switched to APS.

Both processors worked great. Authorize.net's gateway site and support were definitely top notch, however they weren't able to support Level 3 processing which is what prompted the switch to APS.

When we decided to move to APS we weren't using a VAR or anything so I had to handle the implementation on my own - fortunately the APS integration team was absolutely fantastic.

We’ve partnered up with CBS as their solution has a lot of value add features (like the customer portal for example) that does more than just the processing of transactions.

Hi All, looks all good info, appreciated. Anyone have any experience using these services internationally? particularly within the UK. I cannot tell if they are restricted by region at all. Thanks in advance

Hi @matthewjames,

I don't have any experience with international personally. @kingcarlos might have some recommendations since he's outside of the United States, down in Australia.

@timrodman and @matthewjames, you may want to review https://stripe.com/en-au the negatives I have heard is that they are more expensive than other payment gateway providers and a bit slower to release the cash, here in Australia eWay is very common and last time I spoke to them for every $4 dollars going through a payment gateway, $1 would be through eWay.

We are currently experiencing some surprising issues with APS and challenges with APS support. Until recently, we and our customers were big fans.

Do any of the other options offer Click-to-Pay functionality (where we can add a field to the AR Invoice rpx file to add an auto-generated, invoice-specific link the customer can click to pay that invoice online)?

Do any of the other options provide a customization that would allow customers to pay invoices on the Acumatica Customer Portal?

Thank you!

Kimberly

Hi Tim,

We have experienced no new issues and ceased engagement in solving our major issue. Please let me know if you would like additional information.
