If I wanted to combine the

Fund Balance (Operating
|
|
Retained Earnings
|
lines and display the total of 1,017,983.75
in the out of the box Trial Balance Summary report how can I accomplish this?

You could add a variable to the section that is a running total that only calculates when the account number is one of those two accounts. Then you'd drop the variable on the report to see the total.
