In report designer, the conversion from HTML to the PDF export seems to cut text that is too long. In report designer, the field is set to can grow = true. In the HTML version, the text looks correct. Once the PDF button is clicked, some textual data is lost. This is of course on really long text. A customer is placing a lot of job detail in a note field that they want to show up on the PO form. Is there a good way to deal with this? It seems to be a bug in the PDF conversion process.
I kind of figured this out. The HTML version grows longer without page breaks. The content is exceeding the bound of the page size of a PDF, instead of splitting, it is truncating.
@sqlrunner I am struggling with this currently. Did you ever find a work around? I would just go with html but they need it to be visible when emailed via pdf.
