Client upgraded to 2018R2 over the weekend and one GI exposed through Odata is getting this error:

DataFormat.Error: OData: The format 'text/html; charset=utf-8' is not supported.
Details:
text/html; charset=utf-8

They tell me all others are working fine.  Any clues?

I've heard of some people getting random OData errors, but it hasn't happened to me so I don't have much to contribute unfortunately.

Do you get the same error when connecting to an OData URL through your web browser? Or only when connecting to the OData URL through Excel or Power BI?

Hi,

I am facing the same error... have you figured out what causes this issue?

Thanks!

It might be a special character encoding.  try to clean data in test environment.  Just assumption.

I had the exact same issue. The common thread was the '&' in the GI Title. Removed it and problem solved!
