When clicking a link to Acumatica from within Excel, Acumatica redirects to the login page even if you are logged in.
Is there a way to by pass that or to have it redirect once, have the user log in and then on the next link clicked by pass the login screen until the session expires?
These are the only 2 posts/ articles I found on the subject. Although helpful, they do not address the login issue.

That's a good question. I hadn't tried it in a while, but now I see the behavior that you're talking about. @gabriel might know something about this because he handles it nicely in Velixo.
Checkout the link below. We just ran into similar issues and this fix from Microsoft allowed the links to work without having to log in every time. The issue has to do with excel doing their own handling of links without tokens and therefore doesn’t know you are logged into Acumatica.
Ryan is 100% correct, this has to do with the way Excel handles links. There are registry changes that can be made to prevent that but for Velixo I did not want to be force to require administrative privileges for the installation or be forced to make such changes so I decided to use the solution here: https://superuser.com/a/838312 and do a simple redirection from the velixo.com website.
Redirection URLs in Velixo look like that: https://secure.velixo.com/redirect.htm?u=<where you want to redirect>
The URL needs to be encoded, thankfully Excel provides the ENCOREURL function to help with that. Here's a sample that redirects to the customer code contained in cell B1:
=HYPERLINK(ENCODEURL("https://test.velixo.com/2020R1/Main?CompanyID=Company&ScreenId=AR303000&AcctCD="&B1), "Click here!")
@Ellie I don't mind if you use our redirection URL for in your spreasheets, just do me a favor and check out velixo.com if you're doing Acumatica-related stuff in Excel
The fix from Microsoft @ryanxbyte linked to solved the issue.
@gabriel , your solution works as well but i was ok with the registry fix for now, since the file I am working with will not be used by that many users.
Thank you!
Ellie - glad it worked. We just happened to run into this exact issue a few weeks. Glad I could help.
