In the past, we have been able to create an invoice and put the transaction into unrealized income (liab) and AR. I can't find a way to create the same transaction in the new version. Because of the limit of expense or revenue accounts it kind of puts us in a bind with the new accounting rules. Does anyone have a workaround for this or another way of thinking about it we might consider?
Can it be done with an Allocation Rule?
We think we are going to end up there. But were hoping to avoid it. Thanks for the thought.
Michael, are you saying that if you create an invoice in AR or SO and tie the invoice to a project, you can't code one of the lines to a liability account such as unearned income?
Thats what we have found Shawn. i hope I am wrong.
Is the change of behaviour documented in the release notes? if not I would raise it with Acumatica, if yes then you may be snookered.
