I am trying to import 16,500 activities against customers from a legacy system. Based on another topic in this forum, I have built an import scenario and I am almost there but just failing to get the final piece of the puzzle which is to attach the activity to the customer. The Activity is created and the note is correct but the related entity will not populate. I have tried variations on the syntax but I am really stabbing in the dark. Has anybody else managed to do this - my import scenario is below.

Looks like you are nearly there. I have tested the following Import Scenario successfully:
Please note that I have hard coded the type of activity to N - Note.
@jeffrey-patch - Thank-you very much. I have now successfully imported my activities. I did add the Time Activity lines in, but I think that the issue was a single letter - EntityID vs EntityCD.
