We are cloud hosted with a 3rd party vendor. I deleted user jsmith because the account was locking up when they go to a certain screen. When I recreated the account with the same username it looked like the user was never deleted as their favorites were still there along with the problem screen. I tried deleting them again and waiting a few days thinking that it would flush out the system of the user account but didn't work. Does anyone know how to purge everything from that account? What I'm wondering is if we get someone new later that becomes jsmith they will probably have an issue with that account. Are we going to have to keep track of broken accounts?
I haven't experienced this problem with users, but I have with other records. They get marked as deleted, but they don't get purged and there is no purge routine. I'm not 100% sure if that's the case with users, but I've experienced it in other areas.
