Hello all
After writing several business events in 2019 R1, I have found that they frequently fail to trigger. A very simple BE was simply to recognize postings to specific GL accounts and creating a new GL Journal to perform another set of postings. Simple case of a GI based around the GLTran table. This is about as simple as it gets. Unfortunately worked a few hundred times then stopped - No BE History, so no record of what happened.
Does anyone know if Acumatica have addressed the inconsistency in failure to trigger?
I have had the same struggle, but haven't taken the time to understand the intricasies of how Business Events fire and how to troubleshoot them.
Have you tried the new System Queues Monitor mentioned here?

Please share if you find out what is happening.
We also find business events unreliable in addition to there being no clear instructions on what "simple" queries mean vs "complex" (which we should avoid).
Well in 2022, the situation is much the same. I can't get a BE to fire on Sales Invoices or Receivables Invoices for that matter.
Trigger Condition is only Record Changed.
It works on Sales Order and Shipments, but nothing to do with Invoices.
Well here we are 2025 and at least in 2024 R1 release, not much has changed. Business Events still perplex me. I have written probably well over 100. But in significant proportion of instances, they just stop working.
