Hello,
I have made a sales order and a delivery from that. I have set the condition in Automatic Notifications (SM205040) that when a new delivery is created with Status = Open, an email is created with an attached shipment confirmation SO64200S and sent to a specific email. So far, everything is good.
I have made it so the shipment confirmation document in PDF-format shows a Barcode which is linked to the shipment number. This goes perfect when we print the shipment confirmation in the system straight away and I can see the Barcode. But when the shipment confirmation is sent to my email via the Automatic Notifications the Barcode is missing (everything else is working and shows up). I have tried 10 times to get this to work now, trying different barcode types, I have verified that I am linked to the correct report in the Automatic Notification settings, and resizing the Barcode picture in the Report Designer. I have opened the PDF in different PDF-viewers but still can not see it when I get it via mail.
I actually can see the barcode when I sent the document with a standard email from the program manually on the document, it is just when I use the Automatic Notification function that the barcode does not appear on the PDF.
Here are my settings in Report Designer for the Shipment Confirmation (SO64200S):
And here are my settings for the Automatic Notification (SM205040) - Note that the language is Swedish because I am working in Visma.net, not actually Acumatica:
"Utleveranser" = Shipments
"Följesedel" = Shipment Confirmation
"Öppen" = Open
Parameters tab is empty
Fields tab checks "Status".
If anyone could help me figure out why the Barcode is not showing up when the PDF is sent by email I would be incredibly grateful!

Finally solved the reason why it did not work, which felt really satisfying. For some reason using "=[@ShipmentNbr]" as value on the Barcode worked perfectly fine for seeing the Barcode in the system and by manually mailing it out, but I need to use "=[SOShipment.ShipmentNbr]" if I actually want to be able to get it in the PDF sent by automatic email too.
I don't know why it matters but at least that was the issue.
Hope we get Business Events to Visma.net also in the future, because Automatic Notifications is what we have to work with.
