We have just moved from MYOB Exo to MYOB Advanced, and we cannot get the Qty on Hand to show on the 'front' screen of the stock items, like Exo used to do. On the warehouse details tab of the stock item, we only use 1 location currently, so how can I create a new column on the front screen, and map the Qty on hand column to this? Any assistance would be appreciated.
If I'm understanding correctly, you want to move the Qty. On Hand field from the WAREHOUSE DETAILS tab on the Stock Items (IN202500) screen to another tab (maybe the GENERAL SETTINGS tab) to make it more prominently displayed?
This should be possible for a developer to do, but I think it will be more involved than simply copying the field. Even though you are only using one Warehouse, the logic should be coded to sum up all Warehouses just in case there are multiple.
Hey Acumatica / MYOB Advanced will be very different to EXO so you will need to get used to these subtle changes quickly to increase user adoption and gain the benefit of this new solution.
You will need to speak to your business partner, they can either modify the existing Screen ID IN2025PL to include these fields below. As you can see these "tables" are not used in that view but you can see it can be added.
Or alternatively build a new GI - I have done this and pushed it to the mobile app.
