The Acumatica Hubspot integration works very well.
However for this integration to work we have to have a HubSpot Marketing Starter account. This is as this account level opens up access to the Lists feature, allowing the integration to work.
Is there any way to alter this integration so that it works with just the HubSpot Free CRM account level? It would be awesome if it could.
One of the reasons why I'm interested as to having Acumatica integrate with HubSpot CRM rather than a HubSpot paid account is due to the heaps of software programs HubSpot integrates with.
I thought that for programs that don't integrate with Acumatica but integrate with HubSpot, we could possibly get the information to flow through using HubSpot.
An example of this is MailChimp. We could possibly get info flowing between Acuamtica and MailChimp via HubSpot. If Acumatica integrated to free Hubspot CRM, I think we could do this integration for free! However, as you have to integrate with HubSpot Marketing Starter package, it's not that viable to do this...
Does this sound like a possibility?
I'm not familiar enough with the Hubspot integration to know if it's possible. It could be an API restriction on the Hubspot side.
But if you are interested in connecting to MailChimp, you might take a look at Microsoft Flow. Acumatica can connect to Microsoft Flow (click here). And Microsoft Flow also has a connector to MailChimp.
The Acumatica-HubSpot integration needs HubSpot Marketing Starter for "Lists" access. To use just HubSpot Free CRM, you can customize the integration to directly sync records without using Lists, though segmentation is limited. Using Skyvia to create a custom workflow could help bridge the gap, syncing contacts and deals directly without upgrading.
