Can we install AugSQL on our sandbox or can we only assign the one license to one installation ID? Do we reassign the license?
Great question. The license can only be put in one Instance at a time.
If your Sandbox is running as a unlicensed Test Instance of Acumatica, then AugSQL will work since it works in any unlicensed Acumatica Instance.
We've talked about allowing additional AugSQL licenses to be purchased for licensed Acumatica Sandboxes at a reduced rate. Would you be interested in that?
We're now offering additional AugSQL licenses for sandbox environments at the rate of $99 per year.
@timrodman Bumping this way from the past-I just had a contact tell me about AugSQL and I just about lost it. This should be standard functionality (although I understand why Acumatica wouldn't do it). Anyway, how do we purchase the additional $99 Sandbox license? I don't want to register our (licensed) sandbox instance with our main AugSQL license, but I obviously don't want to play with it in production yet either.
