Questions Variables

Hello Acumatica Community,

I am currently trying to create a report that will have to do a unique task. What I am trying to accomplish is to be able to gather same lengths from a table and then count how many have the same length there are in the project and then organize them from longest to shortest. I have a column on the project that has the length and another column with the amount of panels at that length. There can be various panels at the same length and they will have to be added together to calculate the total amount of various panels at the same length. Is this possible to do this using a variable or would I need to go another route to accomplish this?
