Does anyone know how to update the data that the Report Designer uses for preview mode?
I thought Report Designer Preview ran live against the Acumatica database. Does it seem to be caching data?
Bummer. Personally, I don't use it. I just keep saving the report and running it within Acumatica. It's not too bad, my fingers just get used to doing the following:
1. Ctrl+R to save the report
2. Alt+Tab to switch back to my Acumatica web browser
3. Ctrl+R to refresh the Acumatica report web page
4. Click the Run Report button to run the report again (no keyboard shortcut for this unfortunately as far as I know)
Damn got so excited about this new feature. Is it true that you can't modify the report parameters used for the preview?
Publishing endless new versions is really painful for testing (we are a MYOB Advanced customer so it's not as simple as Tim's method).
I think you might need to set default values for the parameters to use Preview if I remember correctly.
