I want to display an image as a side panel on a Generic Inquiry. e.g. Proof of Delivery signature that is a file attachment on Shipments. Using a side panel will be quicker and easier than clicking the paperclip, choosing the attachment, etc.
Its straight forward to determine the External Link to the file stored in MYOB Advanced. I was hoping I can just use a side panel that links to the webpage. This works for other webpages (topic has been covered previously in this forum). But the side panel returns an error "Invalid URL: The hostname could not be parsed".
Has anyone had success in displaying internal images/file attachments in side panels?
Maybe you could create a report in Report Designer that takes a File ID as a parameter and displays the image, then drop the report on the Side Panel?

Great minds think alike. After I posted, I thought of the same. I have a subreport that I can tweak a little that will do just that.
