I've been working with the Financial Report Writer for a while now and currently I'm trying to get Trial Balance Trend Report.
The report column started with Beginning Balance, first period then so on and last is Ending Balance with parameter Period Start (always first period - Jan) and End, while the Data Source is Ending Balance.
If the parameter Period End is 12 and each period having transactions (Period of 2018) then the report is fine.
Question :
1. How to get Data Source become Not Set when the End Period is more than 1 and less than 12 ?
2. How to hide the column when the Data Source is Not Set?

While waiting for anyone to respond I finally found the solution with reading all related subject in this forum.
The answer for both question is in the Visible Formula in the Column Set for Period 02 up to 12.
In the Column Period 02 - Visible Formula, I put =Month(Report.GetPeriodEndDate(@EndPeriod))>=2 and Data Source - Start Period = 02- , End Period = 02-, with Amount Type = Ending Balance.
Next column just change the number according to period number.
