To my friends, fellow Acumatica users, jealous NetSuite users, curious IFS ecosystem people, and anyone else out there reading this, I have an announcement to make.
O ya, let’s not forget the amazing Dynamics GP users who got neglected with Dynamics 365 and have learned about the eerie similarities between the Acumatica culture and the culture in the early days of Great Plains. These folks know a lot about building a community.
It’s a fact that AUG Forums have become by far the most active Acumatica User Group Forums on the internet.
As of July 1st, 2019, in a move to make AUG, an Acumatica User Group, more “mainstream”, TimRodman.com has moved to AUGForums.com. All of the old TimRodman.com links will now forward to AUGForums.com.
Let’s face it, TimRodman.com was getting pretty tacky. I mean, who does this Tim Rodman guy think he is anyways? There is no way any one person can know everything about Acumatica. Which is totally true. That’s why I consider myself a professional learner and not an expert. This blog was actually originally located at PerpetualAcumaticaLearner.com (click here).
The main reason why I moved things to TimRodman.com several years ago is that I learned that it was a bad idea to have a trademarked name like Acumatica in the URL. And I couldn’t think of a better URL at the time.
Now that AUG Forums have taken off (click here for recent stats), I thought that AUGForums.com would be a good URL moving forward.
Other than the change in URL, things stay pretty much the same around here. This is still an independent website, providing an online place for Acumatica users to ask questions about Acumatica, share information about Acumatica, and improve their Acumatica skill set.
Sincerely,
Tim Rodman
