June 22, 2017 by Tim Rodman

The first xRP Summit took place today. It was a virtual affair which is perfect for developers in my opinion. What a great way to share knowledge. Here are my notes from the Product & Platform Roadmap session.

The final presentation is by Ali Jani here at #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/CcHLZgMbqE

Good to see Reliability as the foundation of this pyramid. Seems like Acumatica has made big investments in QA last couple yrs. #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/NxqHpQE5Fa

This graph on Value Proposition makes me feel like I'm in an Economics class. Acumatica focuses on light green area. #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/CgcfJY6Shg

The area highlighted in red seems to be the reason why Acumatica has bet heavily on the ecosystem. #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/Rvlw9qyv8y

Oh goodie. Now this is going to get interesting. #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/xnXqpPQSZg

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

I think the biggest "feature" that #Acumatica CRM will be introducing is the integration with Salesforce #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/yliKPKBlQ5

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

The new #Acumatica UI makes it easier to find menu screens #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/wUkrIkp2Oy

Stay tuned for how the new UI will tie-in to the mobile app #xrpsummit

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

Even more API Enhancements will be coming to Acumatica (like 50-60 new endpoints which will be included in regression testing) #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/StQozQWYRg

Acumatica introducing "magic" to make API calls more efficient, allowing passing parameters in your headers (hmmm, "magic" huh?) #xrpsummit

Swagger support will be multi-level #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/7iYxTE02qX

Using BAM, you'll even be able to split notifications by users, like splitting outstanding invoices across Salespeople #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/5KbPMs3qgD

Sounds like SMS notifications will eventually make it into BAM #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/00sLq96jMx

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

This Salesforce integration really is real-time, not a process or a synchronization. It's a push notification "channel" #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/IPpysu2Kvc

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

The Acumatica Salesforce integration is designed to work out of the box, just put in your credentials #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/518RDyz8ss

About to see what Push Notifications will look like in Acumatica Mobile App #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/Wct0MwqJBZ

— Tim Rodman (@TimRodman) June 22, 2017

This demo has no applications running. Notifications should be working in the background. #xrpsummit pic.twitter.com/PpDRLZBsoK
