Many times the information coming in for a new quote is provided by email. These emails will have XLS, Word Docs etc. Is there an easy way to just attach a .msg file to a task or quote in 2020r2 or 2021r1? Our sales team has not fully embraced the CRM side yet. Any thoughts are helpful.

Depending on the browser you can click and drag the email to the quote/task.
Prerequisites:
Acumatica - .msg has to be defined in the File Upload Preferences
Browser - supported in Chrome, Microsoft Edge (if version is current as this is based on CHrome), I think IE, but you need an extension for Firefox.
Email Client - supported in Outlook. Tried unsuccessfully to to get it working in Gmail, but if you use an email client such as Thunderbird (and add the .eml extension to the the File Upload Preferences) it works.
Alternatively, you can also just drag the attachment from the email. But I like the .msg approach.
I can't recall if the Outlook Add-In works with both Quotes and Tasks. I'm more optimistic about Quotes than Tasks. The advantage of the Outlook Add-In is that you don't have to have your browser open.
