Has anyone done a customization for this?
Currently, there is a Phone Mask field on the Companies (CS101500) screen. It used to be on the Branches (CS102000) screen prior to Acumatica 2018 R1.
Check the help on that screen and you'll see that you can enter something like this for an American phone number:
Then, when you go to, say, the Customers (AR303000) screen, the Phone 1 and Phone 2 fields validate your data entry:
But different countries have different Phone Masks so it would be nice if you got the Phone Mask field on the Countries/States (CS204000) screen, just like you can already put an Input Mask on the Postal Code.
But this feature doesn't currently exist. You can go vote on it though:

Until it does exist, I was wondering if anyone has done a customization for it.
I just voted for this too. I can't believe with all the international versions of Acumatica that they don't have phone formatting at the country level. Postal code is there...
Any developers out there want to do this and several of us on here could chip in to pay for it? Any users out there want to join me and chip in for this. I just double checked and 2020R1 does not have a phone mask at the country level.

@andrew-smith thanks for the new link. They rolled ideas into the new Acumatica Community website and I don't have access to that area since I'm no longer a VAR so I'll take your word for it 😀
