For approval and control purposes, there are some screen shots or snips we'd like to add to an activity note, however it seems we can't paste images into the note. I see that a saved image can be uploaded, but we are looking for a quick & efficient easy step, and saving a screen shot and uploading it seems a bit cumbersome. Perhaps I'm missing something? Has anyone else experienced this? We're on 2019R1. Perhaps it changes in a future version? Thanks for any info.
It's been a while, but last time I tried this it depended on the browser that you were using. Pasting from clipboard didn't work in Chrome, but it worked in Firefox. Which browser are you using?
Here's another example of something that depends on which browser you are using:

I'm using Chrome as my default browser, and the copy/paste doesn't work there, but I've just tried it in Firefox and it works there. Thanks for the tip!
And thanks so much for including the information on the Outlook drag and drop - that's a huge item for our AP department and I'd love to get this to work. We'll be exploring the options.
Here is another option. You can use Capture from Techsmith (formerly jing). That allows you to take a screenshot and instantly saves it to the cloud and puts a link to it into your clipboard. From there, just paste the link where you need it. We use it a lot internally to quickly sh what you see without having to actually do a screen share meeting. It's free and a hand tool even if using firefox works for you.
