In Acumatica, sometimes when you click on a hyperlink it opens a pop-up window instead of a new tab.
If you find this annoying (like I do), you have some options.
Google Chrome Browser: there is an extension that will do this for you.
Search the Chrome Web Store for "pop-up as tab" and install this extension:
Firefox Browser: you can actually modify the settings to do this:
1. Go to the URL field where you would normally type in a website and type in "about:config" like this:
2. You are going to get a scary warning, but I personally have never had any problems with this setting. Click I accept the risk! to proceed.
3. Search for "restriction" and double-click on the line that says "browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction" like this:
4. Change the value to 0 (zero) and click OK
5. When you are done, it should look like this:
Now for an example. It used to be that clicking on the 001875 link below would open a new window:
But now it opens a new tab instead which is great!

Thank you for the tip. This really helps.
