Has anyone experienced any issues with 2020 R1 utilizing almost all available memory on their IIS server? We have a demo environment with multiple sites running on multiple versions, and recently installed 2020R1 with Acumatica's sales demo data. It is set to use a dedicated App Pool, and as soon as we start that site, the memory usage on the IIS server spikes to over 95%. Increasing the memory on the server didn't help - the usage still goes to 95%. Previous builds do not cause this, it seems to be unique to 2020 R1.
Just trying to see if anyone else has seen this or anything similar.
Wish I could help, but I mostly work with Acumatica SaaS now so stuff like this is their headache.
We are on 2019R2 SaaS, so this might not be relevant, but we just a had a serious memory issue ( after a minor upgrade to 19.211.0011) which was do to Business events launching an ever increasing amount of data to the Message queue. Acumatica support added a customization to fix that and everything went back to normal.
The testing is easy- deactivate all Business events and see if memory is still overloaded.
