I am a new Acumatica user looking for suggestions/ideas on the best practices for sending customers drop-ship tracking numbers. The solution provided by our implementation team was to manually send customers emails with the tracking numbers and the shipped items since Acumatica did not generate a shipment for the drop-shipped items or even a field for the tracking number for a drop-ship receipt.
There has to be a better way- Has anyone found a way to have Acumatica send a shipment confirmation with tracking information to customers when a drop-shipment is received?

I haven't confirmed this, but I think Notifications Templates may have been completely replaced with Business Events in Acumatica 2020 R2.
