Hi

Hoping someone can help with an import scenario that works with being able to select the "Create Matrix Items" tab, and then tick the appropriate attribute column for the matching row from Import data.  Managed to import the templates, but now need to do the Matrix selection area.

We have items that have a size and then colors for that size.  The row attribute is the size and the column is the color.

Data for import has

ITEMCODE     Small    Black

ITEMCODE     Small    White

Now we wish to import this to save time as client is going to have 3000+ templates.

And some items wont have the color in the size so we cannot just do all.

However not sure what to choose in the import scenario so hoping someone out there is kind enough to share one they have done that will be great.

Thanks in Advance

What are you trying to import? I am not familiar with the "Create Matrix Items" process.

Hi its this feature here:

About 6 mins into the video u will see the "Create Matrix Items" and this has a method of ticking what you want to make, and then you press the button to create the new stock items based on the template.  Those ticks are the issue.  I have tried on the template form, and also the form for Create Matrix Items, both import scenarios are failing to do what I need it to do, even though it seems to have the ability.

Hi @myobadvanced,

You might want to repost this Discussion Topic in the Import and Export Scenarios forum on the new official Acumatica Community website:

Here on AUGForums.com, most of the content will now focus on reporting, with the exception of general topics in the Everything Else (click here) forum and the AUGForums.com Real Talk Podcast (click here) where we'll continue to focus on real Acumatica customer stories (click here if you'd like to participate).
