Hi everyone,
Does anyone knows how to set up auto print labels when confirm shipment? I guess it use device hub. I installed device hub and set the printer in Acumatica. But nothing happened when I confirm shipment.
I wish I had more experience with Device Hub, but I don't yet. You might want to try https://community.acumatica.com for this one. It sure seems to me like the setting in your screenshot should do what you want it to do.
@timrodman The problem is we don't have MS MQ in the server. The system can not push message to device hub. The log only show very poor warning messages. Spend few days to find it out.
@larryly We find device hub is pretty buggy. We never got the automation of "process shipment" working either. Our solution is that we have 2 monitors- process shipments on one monitor and the shipment screen on the other which makes navigation easier.
To be honest, we correct shipments enough times throughout the day that manually printing them has saved a lot of bad prints.
@wildlifetracker It's very hard to set up device hub at the beginning. Actually I already worked out the whole process. My plan is to set up a packing station in warehouse that the shipment will not back to office to print labels. The warehouse worker will use scan gun or screen "Pick, Pack, and Ship" to confirm shipment, system will automatically print labels and packing list. Device hub is working great on every step. It's also working on "process shipment" screen.
@wildlifetracker If the device hub can not receive message. Make sure your "Push Notifications" is working and check the printer settings and printer access.
