All of my Stock Items have weights in pounds and weight UOM set to POUNDS but the Companies Weight UOM is set to OUNCE and is a non editable field. How can I change it and/or why isn't it editable? I'd rather change 1 things that 2 things for 600+ items. Thanks!
That's weird. It's an editable field for us.
Is there a chance it was a bug that was corrected in one of the upgrades we haven’t done? And if so is there a way to find out which upgrade?
I think your best option is contacting Acumatica for support.

Yes! That explains it. And as Royce suggested, I will probably have to go directly to Acumatica to get it changed.
Update: per Acumatica's response, I was able to change the Base Weight UOM by making all the weights in the system = 0 and the UOM. In my system, I only had this data for the stock items so it was simple to change them, then change the Base Weight UOM, then reimport the correct weights. It did not matter that shipping calculations had be made.
