Relatively new user here with very basic skills....
I would like an action, such as releasefromhold, to be conditioned on the presence of a file attachment. Previously, I have used "conditions" to mandate populating user defined fields but now want to mandate the presence of a file attachment for certain screens (supporting document for an AP bill, as an example). We want to require our users to attach supporting documents.
How to do this as I do not see the FileID as a field I can select when creating a condition as part of a customization?
I am not a programmer so as much detail as possible would be appreciated.

That's a great idea. Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas on how to detect if a file has been attached.
