When creating a Deferred Revenue Schedule, we are trying to get a sub account segment which is the state and is specified in the Customer GL Sales Account (000-0000-FL-0000-SLS) to show up in the sales subaccount for the Component ID row. The Component ID is a non-stock item with it's own sales subaccount that specifies different segments than what the Customer sales subaccount does. When adding the Component, the subaccount from the non-stock item comes in, but it does not merge it with the Customer sales subaccount. This works fine if you create an AR invoice with the same customer and non-stock item -- the sales sub account is merged as specified in the AR Preferences. It seems this functionality doesn't work when creating a deferral schedule? Or am I missing something?
I hope this make sense. The window that's not working for me is DR201500 under the Components section. It's the Subaccount column that's not populating the state from the customer.
