I am currently in the process of testing Acumatica's report designer on my local run instance of Acumatica.
I will provide a run down of the process I have followed so far, As I am not sure what part of it I have done wrong or missed
- created basic report in report designer(hello world).
- saved report locally
- saved report to server (tested connection first by opening a canned report from the server)
- made sure my permissions were correct for adding the report to site map, saved changes
- went to site map and added report to finance in the same area as other canned reports.
- copied the path form other reports and added the report's name to the path, saved changes
- navigated to finance page and started config. to check off the report as available to view
The report did not show up in the config view to be made available to that page.
Can you include a screenshot of your entry on the Site Map (SM200520) screen?

Turns out it was a simple fix that I found the next day when I checked again, I just needed to clear my cache and reload the page to get it to show up

Glad to hear it. I've also been burned by Acumatica caching, not realizing the cache needed to be refreshed.
