I have a customer that manufactures product in 20kg bags and sells by the pallet (50 bags per pallet).
I want to be able to print a pallet label for each pallet so for a single order line / shipment line with 5 pallets sold, I want to print 5 labels. If there are two lines on the order, one with 3 pallets and one with 5 pallets then I want to print 8 labels in total - 3 of 1 and 5 of the other. The situation is further complicated by the fact that they will make up a custom pallet with 20 bags of one product and 30 bags of another - these will be put into a shipment package for label printing.
We are currently working around the issue by creating a package for each pallet but this is very time consuming. Is there any way to have a report section repeat a number of times so that I can specify the number of copies from the quantity ordered?
As an aside, we are unable to print pallet / carrier labels in bulk and have to do them one shipment at a time - this also is very time-consuming.
Thanks Tim - worked a treat. Trap for users from countries other than the USA though - the date format (mm/dd/yyyy) that works in the USA does not work "downunder". I got it to work with 'yyyy-mm-dd'.
