Does anyone know if it is possible to format a field such as the line description field in the SO Form to convert a long description into multiple lines. Example:

Description field on sales order: (Spacing should be single as the forum doesn't let me change the spacing)

53 15/16 x 20 5/8 x 3/8..Pencil Grind..Pencil Polish..Heavy Dub Grind..LOGO PER PATTERN

Description to show on printed SO Form

53 15/16 x 20 5/8 x 3/8

Pencil Grind

Pencil Polish

Heavy Dub Grind

LOGO PER PATTERN

Hey Nick,

Try holding down Shift on your keyboard before pressing Enter. That should insert a carriage return and allow you to put in something like this:

Which will print on the Sales Order like this:

Is that along the lines of what you were looking for?

Also, when you say that the forum doesn't let you change the spacing, can you elaborate? Maybe there is a forum setting that I can change for you.

That works for manual entry of the sales orders but we are also running a daily import, any way to do that within the import?

Are you using an Import Scenario? What kind of data source are you using (CSV, Excel, etc.)?

I just tried it using an import scenario and the Excel file attached below as a data source. I used the same Shift->Enter trick to put the carriage return into the cell in the Excel file. And it worked for me.
