Hello,

For some reason, when I export my report to Excel, the background is white.

I would like to have no background in Excel. I have not found which property to change

Obtained result :

Desired result

Many thanks for your help!

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible. It looks like the Report Style property "Back Color" is applied to the Cell's Fill Color and an empty value in the report for "Back Color" is being mapped to White for Fill Color in Excel, which removes the border.

You could try submitting an idea to https://feedback.acumatica.com/ideas

Thank you for your answer @roycelithgo.

The weird thing is that I have built this report starting from another one that exports without the white background. I have investigated the possible causes and could not find any reason! I didn't change anything in the formating, or at least not willingly.

Original report export :

Strange....

@kikitravel That's really strange indeed. Check that report above what is assigned for the Style property on the various fields in the report. I used one of the Standard reports for my investigation and the Style property didn't have any Back Color value assigned.

Also as the report files themselves are just XML documents, you can use a tool like Beyond Compare to compare the 2 files and see what the differences are. It might help you identify what setting is causing this.

Hi @roycelithgo

I will try the Beyond Compare idea or another method (as taking a step by step approach and see where it bugs).

Many thanks and good day
