In Acumatica 2018, when you apply on-the-fly filters, they get added to the new Drag column header here to configure filter area.
Regardless of whether you drag a column to the new area or use the old way of clicking on the column heading to apply the filter, the column will appear in the new Drag column header here to configure filter area. This is nice because it gives the user a quick way to know what on-the-fly filters are being applied.
If you want to save permanent filters, it's still the same. Just click the Filter icon and save either a filter only for your user or one that is shared.
Saved filters (both your personal ones and shared ones) will appear on the top where you see ALL RECORDS, PREPAYMENTS, VOIDED PAYMENTS, etc. in the screenshots below.
