The wiki says that when setting up Parameters, selecting a Schema Field is optional:

SchemaField

 

But when i try to set up a parameter without a Schema Field, i get Error: 'Schema Field' cannot be empty.

Any idea what's going on here? I'm using 2020R1.

I think it's required. Without it, Acumatica doesn't know how to display the Parameter.
