Hi,

Is it possible to use a formula on a GI caption in order to make the caption dynamic?

Example: A month over month sales report for the current and last 2 months, i would like the column names to dynamically be named the actual month names and not "Current"," previous month " and "2 months ago".

Ultimately this would be on a dashboard in a column chart widget, showing top x customers with a column showing totaling each of the last 3 months.

Not possible - caption only supports static text. You could try suggesting it here:  https://feedback.acumatica.com/ideas

+1 from me. I remember wanting to do that in the past and was kinda surprised that Captions were static text only.

Is there still no way to apply a formula to generate a caption?  I want to list monthiyear in columns but that changes depending on the time period specified or when the report was run.

@rpiester You'd have to use Report Designer to generate a dynamic label.
