I'm trying to create a Business Event that will calculate and add a surcharge to an invoice.
Right now I can have it trigger and run the import scenario and successfully add a surcharge line, however whenever I use a formula the result is 0. For example I'm taking the current average cost - an attribute that has the pre Covid-19 cost to fill in the Unit Cost. Even if I just use CDec(CSAnswers_value) it still results in 0.
I can get it to work if I run it on a schedule every minute, however I'd prefer to use a trigger to run the import. Is it just not possible to use formulas with Import Scenarios when triggered by a business event?
I haven't had much experience with Business Events and Import Scenarios, but what I have tried has been finicky so I'm not surprised.
