I have created a GI that exposes Gross Profit Margin % by using a weighted average formula and am now trying to expose this data via a KPI Meter Widget on my Sales Manager dashboard.

On the dashboard, I have a date range parameter set that controls and filters the data of each widget on the dashboard based on the date range input by the end user. However, for some reason, I cannot get the KPI meter widget to respond to the parameters I have set.

Regardless of the date range selected, the widget is only showing the data as exposed by the GI itself. The only thing I can think of is that the grouping on the GI is somehow preventing the parameters from taking effect.

I can add parameters to the GI itself to manipulate the data as I see fit (see screenshot below).

However, when I remove the parameters from the GI in order to allow the dashboard parameters to filter the data, the data result doesn't respond - it simply exposes whatever the GI shows.

For a little more background information, the GI is using grouping in order to accomplish a weighted average for calculating gross profit margin. Taking a standard average of GP % results in an inflated margin % result which doesn't my team accurate data. Happy to provide more details as needed. Thanks in advance for your help!.

Did you map the dashboard parameters to the GI via the widget?
