We have a client that would like to include on their P&L Comparative report the Percentage of Total Revenue in the next column after the totals without having any percentages for any other lines except for what they specify. (i.e. Gross Profits). I can get the percentage but it comes up for all lines in that column.
If anyone has had to do this before I would greatly appreciate any and all input.
Hi Rosemary,
You can use the Column Group feature of ARM to achieve this. In the Row Set, locate the row that corresponds to the Gross Profit line of the report and enter something in the "Column Group" column, ex: "PCT". Then, go to your column set, and set the Printing Group to the same value ("PCT"). ARM will only display the value for cells where *both* the row and the column have a matching group.
If you need more flexibility/simplicity with your report layouts, you might want to take a look at a product that I built, Velixo Reports for Acumatica. I have attached a sample report that shows something similar within Excel. I can give you a test license if you want to try it out, just send me a private message.
