Not sure if anyone has encountered this, the prior period closing balance of the trial balance does not match with the next period opening balance in the trial balance. The plus and minus sign have changed , not sure how this happen?

Try run Validate Balance or Recalculate Account History (screen GL509900).

Perhaps check the Sign of the Trial Balance setting in General Ledger Preferences.
