Am I the only Acumatica user attempting to process 1099s in Acumatica? Last year it took me forever to get a test file to pass muster at the IRS. It took many support hours AND it had to be escalated to Acumatica to correct their programming. What software are you using for 1099’s?
This reply may be a bit late for this year, but we use EFile4Biz. We have a pretty low volume of 1099s but multiple legal entities so it works well for us to have them print, mail and efile.
@ellen-broich Are you exporting the 1099 vendor data out of Acumatica and uploading to EFile4Biz or are you manually entering?
@tanyak We are exporting and then uploading to EFile4Biz. Technically, our export is using Velixo to pull the information into Excel.

Thanks Ellen, I used 1099Fire this year, much easier and we also have low volume and multiple entities. They will also print and mail them to the recipients.

+1 on using an outside service for 1099s. Just export the data from Acumatica and have someone else handle it for you!
I just pile onto the "Outsource it" list; we've used efile1099now for a number of years. Just need an export of the vendor data and payment totals and they handle the rest. I wouldn't say they're better or worse than any other company listed here--it's just something that you don't want the audit and filing responsibility for unless you're super big.
