Inflation is currently wreaking havoc on the economy. The price of everything seems to be going up.
When compared year over year, inflation in many areas is double digits.
What about the pricing for Acumatica?
Jon Roskill, the previous CEO at Acumatica, put together the Acumatica Customer Bill of Rights.
I’m reproducing the Acumatica Customer Bill of Rights here, as of June 12, 2022:
1. A readily comprehensible and not frequently modified SaaS end-user license agreement (EULA)
2. A flexible, open platform for rapid integrations
3. Consumption-based licensing that does not inhibit business growth
4. Sustainable pricing with annual increases of no more than 3%
5. ERP implementations without hidden fees
6. Deployment flexibility
7. Ownership of and access to THEIR data, anytime
8. Consistent, 24/7 customer service
9. Local business expertise
10. Dual layers of support

Will the 3% Cap Survive?
Now that Acumatica has a new CEO and now that we’re experiencing record inflation, one has to wonder if the highlighted portion in #4 above will survive.
Time will tell.
Just in case Acumatica decides to modify #4, I’m preserving it here on this page for posterity 🙂
