I learned some great info from Ruslan during a session at Acumatica Summit 2019 on XML vs. MSDL in the Acumatica Mobile app.
XML is the old way. MSDL is the new way.
The main takeaway for me was that XML was something that had to be done in files on the web server while MSDL is stored in the database and is tenant-specific.
