Hi all,
Can someone explain the differences between using left or right aligned segmented keys. We are just starting our conversion to Acumatica and with an integration into another software. To me right aligned looks better since we are using numbers, but our consultants current have it set to left aligned so before I go back to them to discuss wondering what differences or benefits of each way is. We have a simple business and will most likely not be using any additional segments. I prefer the way right aligned looks with numbers but I do not know the implications to this on reports and such as we have not gotten there yet.

Interesting, I never noticed that Align option before. Left is the default and I've always just gone with that.
In my experience with Segmented Keys, those settings (Edit Mask, Validate, Auto Number, etc.) all relate purely to data entry, not to data storage or how things get displayed on reports. I'd assume it's the same for Align as well.
